Technology solutions, designed and implemented from the initial idea to a working system
Strategy, data, integration, automation, AI and the systems underneath. Specialist technology expertise for all problems and solutions.
Technical expertise, for all industries
Health Sciences
Clinical and aged care systems that pass patient information to the people giving the care, and AI put to work with the oversight this sector needs.
Government
Digital services shaped around the people who use them, and technology decisions you can explain to a minister or a member of the public in plain language.
Financial Services
Systems that keep up with the business and data you can stand behind when a regulator asks. AI where it earns its place, and nowhere it would put trust at risk.
Not for Profit
Client information in one place and automation that hands hours back to a small team. Technology decisions your board can follow, on a budget that has to stretch.
Education and Tertiary
Student and research systems that work together and reporting that runs itself, so staff time goes to students. Technology that works for every one of them.
Resources and Energy
Operational data you can trace back to the sensor and systems that connect the field to the office. Technology that keeps working a long way from town, with patchy coverage and no IT desk nearby.
Construction and Property
Project systems that share what they know, so nothing is keyed in twice between site and office, and records you can produce the day someone asks for them.
Professional Services
The repetitive work automated and client-facing systems that match the quality of the advice. AI on the tasks where it helps a practice.
Good technology work sits between two things that rarely share a room: how people behave, and how systems run. I work in both.
Start with the people, not the platform
Every system here is used by someone with a job to do and not much time to do it. So the first questions are about them: who does this work today, what makes it hard, and what would they notice if it got better. Technology that ignores that answer tends to get quietly worked around.
The thinking and the building in the same hands
Most places split the thinking from the building, and good ideas thin out in the handover. I work across both, so what gets designed can be built, and what gets built still looks like the idea it started as.
Capabilities
Digital Strategy
Choosing what to do next and what to stop, with reasons the people it affects can follow.
Flexible approaches for every scale of engagement
You decide each step on its own, and none of them commits you to the next. If a short piece of work ends with me saying you do not need the rest, that is a good outcome.
Part of a network of independent consultants
Large, complex problems and projects that reach across a whole organisation need more than one person. For that work I draw on a network of independent specialists, each brought in for the part of the problem they know best, so the whole project is designed, built and landed as one piece of work.

Questions people ask before getting in touch
I help organisations work out what to do with their technology, then design the solution and help build it. That covers digital strategy, solution design, data, integration, automation and AI, from the first sketch of an idea through to a working system. Independent means I do not resell software and do not place consultants, so my advice is not shaped by what I would earn from it. In practice most engagements start with dicovery, followed by a step-by-step plan to achieve your outcomes.
Independent technology consultingIf your question is not here, ask it directly.
An initial consultation without any obligations.
Tell me about your organisation, your goals and what you are trying to do. You get a clear view of where technology could help, how I would approach it, and the steps to get there.
